Desperation creeps in ! If she was hidden behind a false wall why does her blood or other fluids not seep out ?

Taking DNA samples from the whole of Bristol would be a waste of time. Any killer may simply have moved on.
I am sure that many residents of the St Paul's area of Bristol would forcefully object to any sample taking attempts. Police are afraid to go in there unless they are mob handed and even then the residents normally beat them off !!! To cast a bigger net, wider, seems counterproductive to me. If it is neither the boyfriend nor the nutty professor, landlord, it all comes down to Cherchez La Pizza !!!
Someone took it and the box that it was in. Whether for fingerprint or hair sample reasons. She may have hit him/her with the box. This makes the killer a registered criminal with records on file. To me it was a robber disturbed in their work who was clever enough to leave everything in situ and thus avoid the initial trawl for known robbers in order to have time to disappear and/or establish an alibi.
I would be looking at anyone who, very suddenly, went for a flight to Jamaica!!!
