Microsoft has been number 1 for so long. It has become a target for hackers and malware designers while others have been left alone. Firefox is beginning to receive the same attention as IE has done in the past but not to the same high scale. Personally I have used Chrome since it came out with occasional use of Opera too.
I have said for most of my life that anything which is number 1 can only go down ! So try some others on the way up that are still trying harder .
