The price of fuel in the UK is spiraling higher out of control. Another increase in duty is due in April and prior to that there will be a Budget where future price increases involving higher duties will have been set out. Not only do these horrendous increases, coming so quickly, one after the other, affect Mr & Mrs Joe Sixpack but the price of moving anything from A to B goes up and therefore, adds to the cost of the item to the customer.
Increases in fuel can be used to hike prices up, which can then be blamed on the Government.
