Police helicopters are very expensive to either purchase or hire. They need loads of crew both in the air and on the ground. So the plan appears to be to replace them with drones which can stay in the air for days using solar power. What better to do traffic watches and riot filming from 10,000 feet in the air !!!
Liverpool in the UK had one on test and found it stunning !! They have also been used, unofficially, during London demos. So keep your head down and stay covered up if you go out shopping !
