The dubious record for lowest temperature in UK is held by Altnahara in the Highlands of Scotland.
Should this be beaten I hope that it is by a place name that English broadcasters don't mangle!!!!
Like Achnasheen or Milngavie for instance!!!
The hotels in Altnahara will be sorry to lose the unseasonal business no doubt which TV crews bring when they appear there during every cold Winter.
