They have been threatening us with this minus 26 for ages. If they know it is going to be bad then why haven't they got off their arses and done something about the skating rink roads?
Why not decide on one airport for London to be kept open and move all the snow gear to that one?
The same could have been done in Central Scotland. The M8 motorway runs past Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports. So open one and keep it open using all the snow gear. Or use Prestwick which has a railway station attached by a covered corridor.
Why can't they fit snowploughs to the front of trains? Have they no welders?
Why is there only ONE supplier of road grit in Cheshire which sells all over Europe?
