For many, who thought that they had a job for life in the Civil Service, Xmas is the start of a beak future. Having lost their jobs over the Summer they will be beginning to feel the pinch as redundancy payments, if any, disappear and tax and other rebates go to.
I feel sure that the unemployment will rise to nearer 4 million by next Summer as the austerity measures begin to bite. Still they can always exercise by going on demos!!!
