Winter coughing and vomiting attacks hospital patients and the public again this year. They have tried everything to keep it out but really have done a hopeless job. In my local hospital, unless you had your own, you could not listen to the communal radio as the earphones may transfer germs.!! You cannot have decent food brought just in case you get food poisoning and blame the hospital.
What they seem to forget with all stupid measures and the mopping and cleaning that goes on is that the people doing it all have outdoor clothes and shoes on as do nurses, auxilary nurses, Doctors, physioterrorists, heart technicians, bluidy social workers and blood sample suckers, sorry, takers. They should all go through a deep clense shower and change into hospital only colour coded paper clothes which can be burned later. Visitors and outpatients should be banned from all main hospital buildings and seen in a separate bulding. A&E should be in a completely separate building away from the main hospital. Airlocks and showers should be in-between buildings. Trolleys should dump patients at a delivery tube entrance where the patient can go through a car wash type scrub before entering the hospital and on to an internal use trolley. These trollys should be steam cleaned every week at least.
Only by keeping the hospital building a hermetically sealed unit will they every stop this virus entering. All else must fail due to outside World contact.
