I, personally have seen on Facebook many people trailing that they were going away on holiday in so many days time.
I have seen people give away their shift times at work. I have seen them saying that they were going on a day trip well away from their homes. I have seen them say that they were going to shopping malls and will therefore be away for a few hours at least.
Another big group organised an outing to an Ayrshire island some 40 to 50 miles away for some involved. They were going there in order to circumnavigate it by bike to raise money for charity. A great thing to do but inevitably it took all day.
I have seen E-mail addresses, home and mobile phone numbers all given out on FB.
One whom I chastised replied "it's okay, I've got a great security system!" As if laying down a challenge!
This new app on FB is terrific for housebreakers. It flags up on a map where a person is so that friends can meet up. Fine in theory. But a robber can see where you are while inside your home nicking your computer!!
