Off shore from Gaza there is a huge deposit of natural gas. It is currently being taken out by a consortium of British Gas (60%) CCC Lebanon (20%) and Gaza Trust (10%) on a 15 year lease. Israel is buying the gas when it comes ashore. But if they get rid of Gaza just prior to the lease ending they want the GAS.
