Why did a cop have a secret file with him/her anyway while in a suspect's home? Had they already lost the laptop? I remember hearing about one some years ago concerning a police operation in Renfrewshire. The two targets and all their associates and details etc. were all left up on a big board in a briefing room.
One of the office cleaners was a cousin of the two suspects and guess what.....................
